I'm a little biased because I'm a fan of the band and have heard nearly all of their songs. My favorite songs by far would be "Nightquest" , which is heavy and melodic. "Devil & The Deep Dark Ocean" is the heaviest and most theatrical track on the album. Tapio Wilska's voice is used to maximum efficiency. His growling compared to Tarja'a soprano vocals are absolutely flawless. America's bands simply cannot compete (It's mostly crap anyway) This album is worth the price!" They are from Finland and are simply one of the most unique bands in history. Not since Sarah Brightman have I heard a voice like Tarja's. Her voice is remarkably powerful. This power is evident in the songs Sleeping Sun, Walking in the Air, Swanheart and Angel's Fall First. You'll also notice that NO OTHER Nightwish album has 5 stars...I think that says something. What caused her separation from Nightwish to go solo (see Tarja - My Winter Storm) I do not know. But his album is surely one of the most remarkable, heavy metal, fem-metal albums of all time.
