Don't Sleep On this

"If you like the lounge and chillout genre, try this on for size. This reconstuction of the New York City album only proves that with the right production, Norah's voice can fit with any genre. Don't compare it with her albums like "Come Away With Me," becasue it is a work in it's own right. Embrace it for what it is and enjoy hearing Norah's voice and DJ Strobe's production blended to perfection."

"The only reason I picked up this album was the name Norah Jones. I was expecting to hear her at the forefront, and I didn't really. "Again, I was not expecting to see anything after the initial release of the REMIX album that came from the original New York City album by Peter Malick and Norah Jones. I thought the idea of a chill album sounded more intriguing than what was heard on the REMIX album. DJ Strobe did a very nice job on creating some lazy, layed back beats and rhythms for the songs chosen to be in this album (personal favorites: Things You Don't Have To Do & New York City). I really thought was a good chance to make up for the dissapointment of the REMIX album. I also agree with the other person though on the idea of accepting what this version of New York City has to offer. I thought this one was done very well."
