It is distinctively New Order in style retaining characteristic elements from throughout the group's long and important career - all tracks are excellent but I'd especially recommend the first three plus "Turn". The chord changes are so seamless, the compositions so perfect, that as a listener I experienced disbelief that such a masterpiece is not more widely recognized. I was very pleasantly surprised by this album - it's now my favorite New Order album, with an edge over Republic and Get Ready, my previous preferences. I listen to 'Siren' several times a week and it doesn't get old. If you like New Order then I doubt you'll be disappointed by this one. If you've never listened to New Order this would be a really superb introduction."
