This song can make you cry

"Probably the best tribute ever made to Tupac Shakur. It uses a sad, slow beat and Treach raps so that you can really hear how much he misses 'Pac. Get this single, it's one of the best songs I've heard in a long time."

"Much love to Naughty by Nature for releasing the cd single, "Mourn you Till I Join You" (1997). Like the previous reviewer said this is one of the best tributes to Tupac Shakur out. Nowadays theres alot of reference made to Pac in songs, not always in tribute but more as a way to attract attention, same goes for remakes of his songs, in a few of these cases it is just people making money off his name. A tribute like this however is genuine and Treach leads the way recalling meeting Tupac, and kicking it with Pac over the years, and then talking about his death. Treach became friends with Pac and had a small role in the movie Juice with him. In this song there is a memorable chorus of: "Ashes to Ashes and Dust to Dust I hope you here me now in god we trust even all the prayers can't bring you back to us I'll mourn you till I join you cause I'll keep in touch" and Treach says: You ain't got to worry about how long I'm gonna mourn ya, I'm gonna keep your name on tha streets. I have read that Treach drops this song at concerts, all the more respect to him for it."
