"A pleasant mixture of songs composed by Victor Jara, Violeta Parra, Horacio Salinas, the most prominent musicians from the beginning of the Nueva Cancion movement in Chile. Exquisite guitar playing by Rodrigo Alvarado and the clear voice of Maria Meija make this CD a pleasure. Concentrating on a few instruments - guitar, bombo drum and voice - make for a very clear, transparent sound."
