The B Major Symphony K 319 covers a range of emotion, from the courtly, serenading tone of the opening movement to the moment when the renowned Fugue finale theme from the Jupiter Symphony makes its entrance. The present CD, with the SWR Symphony Orchestra of Baden-Baden and Freiburg under the baton of Sylvain Cambreling, also includes Symphony No. 35 in D Major, K 385--the "Haffner Symphony"--of 1782, as well as Symphony No. 38 in D Major, K 504--the "Prague Symphony"--of 1786. DVD is playable in all regions; approx. run time 39 minutes.
