CD ReviewsThe best recorded Requiem, ever.. panfr | Greece | 03/06/2004 (5 out of 5 stars) "Largely unknown, this mid-seventies recording at a Lisboa church easily surpasses every other recorded perfomance of Mozart's requiem (and yes, I've heard lots of them...). Especially the choral parts (something that is Corboz's bread and butter) are beyond any description.
Add to that the incredibly low price Amazon offers that album, and it will be a crime to ignore it- if you don't have it already." |
