CD ReviewsA good bargain 02/26/2003 (4 out of 5 stars) "A well filled bargain disk of three of Mozart's best-known concertos in excellent performances. Walter Klien was a fine Mozart pianist, as his discs of the sonatas show.These are probably recordings made by Vox in the late 1950s. There is absolutely no documentation with the disc, Klien's name is spelled wrong, and the orchestra and conductor are not given.
The recording quality is OK.Well worth it at the price for the performances, and might make a good gift for somebody getting started in clasical music." |
