"I still own the original LP set (which included some overtures not included on this disc) and it has always had a place of honor in my collection. Fans of Mozart opera should not miss it; for fans of baritone Tom Krause, soprano Lucia Popp, or conductor Istvan Kertesz it is a required purchase. The beauty of two performances - the trio from Cosi fan Tutte (Son soave) and the aria from Zaide (Ruhe sanft) would, by themselves, be reason enough to acquire this disk. But there is much, much more ..."
