"Bernard Walton was one of the finest clarinetists that ever lived. The performances on this recording are sent from Heaven. His interpretations are elegant, stylish, refined, exquisite, etc. I don't have enough superlatives to truly describe what one hears on this CD.

Another great feature on the disk is a retrospective of Mr. Walton's life and career as told by another great clarinetist and colleague of Mr. Walton's, the English clarinetist Jack Brymer. Mr. Brymer discussion of Mr. Walton's career is insightful and he shares his own personal experience of his first encounter hearing this legend live.

The recording is a must have for all who love the works performed on this CD.
