Synopsis

Product Description
Morrissey is one of few iconic musicians making radical, counter-cultural work, and Harvest Records is proud to release his latest album on July 15th, 2014. World Peace Is None Of Your Business explores the tragedy of human apathy in our turbulent, modern era. Morrissey's career as a writer reaches new lyrical heights but maintains his signature humor, drama, and emotional longing. World Peace Is None Of Your Business was produced by Joe Chiccarelli at La Fabrique Studios in Saint-Rémy-de-Provence, France.

After 5 years in a 'wilderness' of sorts, with no record label, Morrissey has returned in a huge way on his 10th solo album, "World Peace is None of Your Business." In this new album, Morrissey, his longtime band, and new producer Joe Chiccarelli, combine the best elements of Moz's past three solo albums...the incredible production of "You Are the Quarry", the international flair of "Ringleader of the Tormentors", and the bluntness and vulnerabilty of "Years of Refusal" to create an album that is nothing short of breathtaking. The title track is one of Morrissey's incredible pieces of show stopping theatricality, and the closing track, "Oboe Concerto" is nothing short of a classic. Morrissey's voice is truly better than ever and his band are just outstanding. Highly recommended.
