A POOR EXAMPLE OF THEIR LIVE SOUND

"Compared to Caught Live and the BBC sessions, this recording is really awful. Between Caught Live and the BBC and various other b-casts, TV shows and bootlegs that exist, this recording in no way sounds like them live. They always sounded so clean, you could hardly believe it was live. This CD is simply badly recorded with the line jammed right into the vocal mic so you can hear every flaw in the vocals. The mellotron sounds painfully out of tune at times, too. And to boot, it's in mono. Caught Live and BBC is the way to go. Caught Live is probably the greatest live album ever released. I know there is all this debate about which is the greatest live recording, Live at Leeds, Get Yer Ya Yas, whatever, but it is really Caught Live. So it pains me to give this one star...."
