CD ReviewsA diverse party groove mix, maybe too diverse for some... Daniel W. Kelly | Long Island, NY United States | 03/01/2006 (4 out of 5 stars) "I was impressed by the variety of progressive tracks, including many vocals, on this Party Groove mix, considering I didn't recognize many names on here. It's a bit consistent if you are into very specific genres, but if you're looking for a wild dance experience with many twists and turns, you should give it a try.
1. A Bailar Mi Gente...The Rumbar (3:46) (a Latin flavored opening track with a dark jungle groove that really starts a party) 2. Hypnotizing...Kid Crème (3:37) (a hypnotizing tribal with some very sexy female vocals) 3. Strong...Mooncat (7:18) (a hard, deep, diva anthem with attitude) 4. stand up...Vargas with Michelle Weeks (4:54) (fierce vocals by Michelle Weeks, but the mix could have had a bit more kick to live up to the vocal) 5. Oh Baby...DJ Rasoul (6:36) (hard, tribal, some sexy female vocal. Gets old fast) 6. Erotik...ATFC (6:19) (throbbing energy. Wow) 7. Burnin Fire..H-Two (5:40) (more mellow diva vocal, deep and tribal) 8. Percucion...Laurent Wolf (5:42) (sorta boring tribal track) 9. We Don't Talk...Ortz (5:42) (very moody female vocal track) 10. Let Me Fly...Mark Kavanagh (5:16) (a hard, trancey, female vocal. Very hot) 11. Sweet Surrender...Tony Hadley (6:28) (Amazing. A moody male vocal house track by the former lead singer of Spandau Ballet!) 12. Walk on Water...Tenth Planet (10:14) (a very long female vocal deep trance track. A major way to cool down at the end of this mix)." |
