A performer of dazzling promise, she has been compared by many to Martha Argerich. Moments Musicaux is a recital of music chosen by Puzaite and showcases her extraordinary technique. She was eager to include some preludes by Mikalojus Konstantinas ?iurlionis, a Lithuanian composer and painter who is credited with being the founder of both Lithuanian painting and music.In addition to winning the Abstract Securities Landor Competition 2006, Evelina Puzaite is the recipient of numerous other awards, including First Prize at the Rubenstein Piano Competition and First Prize in the Tel-Hai International Piano Competition, Israel. She has performed throughout the United States, Lithuania, Russia, Israel, Sweden, Greece, and many other countries across Western Europe.Memorable performances include the Barbican, Wigmore Hall, Royal Festival Hall and the opening performance of the Brighton Festival 2007.
