Miki Howard - Can't Count me Out -Too many Mood Swings

"Miki Howard has a great voice and is super song stylist but finding and singing the right materiel seems to be the problem here. The music on this CD seems to go into too many different directions. The duet with Terrence Darby Trent( I love every little thing about you)the Stevie wonder song could have easy bis superb. Puts you in a soulful mood but then the next seems to be rap and then she float into some Jazzy complication and then back into some soulful songs again. Too many mood swing. When a person play a CD he or she wants the music to reflect the mood that he or she is in. If I wanna hear funk then I gonna put on a funk CD that's gonna bring about a dance. If I am mellowing out then I want just the CD to reflect that mood. Miki is great artist but I think she needs to stick with R&B or the Quite storm Jazz stardards type music but Leave the Funk/Hip Hop and the Rap alone alone!"
