"Mike Johnson is highly underrated. Imagine Lou Reed crossed with Leonard Cohen for the vocals. Add very pleasant melodies, thoughtful guitar, and gracefully depressing lyrics, and you have the album. I think his buddy J. Mascis plays drums and perhaps some guitar on this album."
