"This review isn't as detailed as some of the others, but I will definitely add to their claims that Giacchino's efforts for this series continue to be stellar. Adding in a couple of new themes and giving some of the older ones new life is proof that this album will be a bit different than the others, but still follows the same orchestral feel. I certainly hope we, the consumers, get two more albums from this great series."

"I absolutely love the music from LOST. Michael Giacchino is a genius. However, I have to say that listening to it by itself is not the same as when I hear it on the show. With a few exceptions. Some of the softer tunes are soothing and beautiful to hear without the show such as "Landing Party" but the scary music isn't so much fun to listen to without watching the characters and the interesting situations that are occurring as the music is playing. I recommend just enjoying it from the show unless you find certain songs you like to hear in which case I would just download them instead of buying the whole cd."
