Almost everythng on this cd is totally generic (even for the time) but the second to last track makes up for it all. Remixed by "God Lives Underwater" this "Schizoid" version is refreshingly non-doofdoof (as the rest of the cd pretty much is). I love the edgy(ugly?)ness of it and it delivers a certain energy the original track never could. I must confess that "Thunderdome" was my least favourite/most hated song from the album 21st Century Jesus (when compared with everything else it just didn't fit as everything else was either "hard" or interesting) but the "schitzoid remix" made me buy the CD single anyway. "Destroyer" (Track 4) is very cool but, alas, available in a near identical form (but with a better ending) on the album. The "Underwater Remix" is Enigma-like and is kinda cool too, perhaps cooler than "schitzoid" if you swing that way, but for pure strangeness and extremity you can't go past the penultimate track. Buy it, cos even tho the rest is crap, those 3 tracks make it more than worth while.
