"This is a must addition to the collection of any Messiah aficionado. Charles Mackerras is a splendid Handelian and combined with the might and majesty of the Huddersfield Choral Society, this cd is a pleasure to own and to listen to over and over. The Mozart arrangement is refreshing, if rushed in a place or two, but Mackerras and the soloists and especially the choir have let a breath of fresh air waft its way into this well known and much loved piece of music.
