CD Reviews

This version is MUCH better than the horrid original

"ok, these people running their mouth about this version are probably those strict rock music lovers that like trashing everything else. mariah carey has the greatest voice in the world, and her remake of brinin on the heartbreak is flawless. i have heard the original and it makes me wanna puke. this is clearly one of mariah's best remakes, and one of my favorite songs by her. look online for a live performance of this song on a mtv UK show, and you will see what good vocals are. not that 'cat being squeezed' sound that def leopard makes while singing this song: that is not emotion, that is bad voice."

"I must confess that I didn't hear the original version, but...why can't all these people see the song for what it is? It's a REMAKE and it is, in a certain way, a way to admire an artist or song. Nobody is trying to compare Mariah and Def Leppard. But, as a admire of Mariah's work I think this is a great song and deserves more attention. Mariah has an incredible voice- in my opinion- the greatest voice in the world. And all these people running their mouth about this version are just jelous that she could make the song reach more popularity. And I would DIE to see the face of this stupid criature that said ''Mariah is finished!''.

Check out the Billboard charts now!!"

"Jay Halliwell, you suck because the original version of BOTH is awesome and is much better than this one. Jeremy Whitman & Michael J Brister you suck becase this version is a great interpretation of the song, BTW Michael, the original version was on "High N Dry", not "Pyromania".
