Amphlett and McEntee had spent a decade as the Divinyls by then, and this compilation shows they had a distinctive style right from the beginning. Make You Happy is quite a good representation of the Divinyls career, however this CD does seem to peter out, with a definite change of direction in the nineties. Perhaps songs such as "Im jealous", "Only human on the inside" and "lay your body down" would have amounted to a more satisfying ending to this cd. The Divinyls have more to offer on their albums Monkey Grip( the film soundtrack), Desperate (the original version as released in Australia in 1982) and Temperamental. Don't be fooled by the mediocre live version of "Only Lonely".It's good anyway." A COMPLETE BEST OF ALBUM..
