CD ReviewsDisappointing reunion from the legendary teen-idol band 04/23/2001 (2 out of 5 stars) "After disbanding with the release of "Siempre," "X-Magneto" marks the first recordings of the now-reformed teen-idol group. It features the band's classic lineup: Alan, Alex, Mauri, Elias and Charly. But most of this disc consists of the original recordings of the group's greatest hits, which already are available on other CDs. And of the two new songs, one is a remake of "Vuela Vuela," which is hardly imaginative or original. And lead singer Alan's voice doesn't sound anywhere as strong or potent as it used to -- perhaps part of that has to do with the fact that he's seen smoking in the booklet, so maybe taking care of his voice is not a priority for him. This could have been really special; instead, it's a disappointment."
