Synopsis

Album Description
2000 debut EP from this fantastic artist from Norway. The music sits somewhere to the left of Kings of Convenience & to the right of Radiohead. So they're a bit moody & atmospheric, but somehow uplifting at the same time. & there are some good songs hidden in the textures. The title track & 'Nothing Hurts Now' were both initially recorded for their debut effort, but are re-recorded here. 'Where Happiness Lives' is without a doubt one of Magnet's finest moments yet, a laid-back & lush, breezy track, irresistibly done. Signed to Zero 7's UK label, Ultimate Dilemma. Magnet's Sophomore album is due in late May. This Australian pressing features the same four tracks as the long deleted UK EP, 'Where happiness Lives', 'I'll Come Along', 'Heaviest Heart' & 'Nothing Hurts Now'.
