Brilliant Weiss-music.

"Let's compare. For example to Hopkinson Smith (Lute works). The sonata n° 23 in F sharp minor is played by both Lutenists. The version of Lutz Kirchhof is 1000 times better. The other 2 sonatas are also played by Robert Barto and Konrad Junghänel. The quality of both versions is superbe. Kirchhof is a very under-estimated Weiss-interpretor. But he's one of the best, together with Robert Barto and Konrad Junghänel. Hey, Lutz, if you read this, when do you record a new Weiss-album? We're waiting for it."
