"Cliched, but true: this album rocks! Sound verging on overproduction takes nothing away from the raw power of these songs. If you want a disc to play with the top down on a sunny day, you've found it."

"Like many people, I only heard of Lustre thanks to the Empire Records soundtrack. I always wanted to get the cd and tried to order it at many places and couldn't...so finally I bought a copy on here recently and was very impressed with the cd. There isn't a bad song on it. Too bad they never got the popularity they deserved and broke up after A&M dropped them from their label. Do yourself a favor and buy this cd if you liked what you heard on the Empire Records soundtrack."
