Pavarotti Live and Wonderful

"Recorded live before an adoring Italian audience, this CD is great from start to finish. It's Pavarotti at the top of his form...truly the King of the High C's at this concert. I'm usually wary of "live" performances, but I was delighted with this CD. The sound is good, and every conceivable Pavarotti "hit" is there, from his signature Nessun Dorma to the lovely Occhi di Fata, which is my own personal favorite, and the reason I purchased the CD. Conductor Leone Magiera leads the orchestra superbly...a perfect background for the Big Man's glorious voice. Tenors come and go, but this superstar is one for the ages, as he proves on this live CD. Buy it...you won't be disappointed."
