CD ReviewsVery good CD 01/28/2001 (4 out of 5 stars) "Though I am not a very big louis armstrong fan I love this CD, It's got all the great tunes hes ever played. All the song have a great upbeat feel, it always seems to give me energy when I listen to it. The music is great but I also enjoy listening to Louis Armstrong sing, his voice might not be the best in the business but he can add so much to the music with just a few words. The only thing I don't like about the CD it that the sound quality isn't so great at times. It's probably because they are old tunes and recordings. I still love this CD regardless of the sound quality. I've always liked BeBop but this CD really give you a good feel for what came before. Now I also like other Big Band leaders like Duke Ellington, or Count Bassie. I highly recomend this CD to anybody who likes Jazz, even if you like BeBop or fusion you'll probably like this CD too."
