CD ReviewsThis is NOT the "Cover Album" Pieter | 02/15/2001 (4 out of 5 stars) "The review by zstardust, while possibly very accurate, is about another album altogether. THIS Perfect Day is a "best of" of tracks by Reed himself. Seems pretty good to me, but then its the only Reed album I own... -rob." Thought this was the Cover album Pieter | 10/24/2001 (4 out of 5 stars) "Thought this was the Cover album. I was pleasantly surprised when I ordered it that this was classic Lou Reed. Although there are a couple of misses on the album, one of the more memorable pieces are 'How Do you Speak to an Angel' ... absolutely awesome. 'Rock and Roll Heart' is old fashioned rock all the way.
"Legendary Hearts' is another great tune. The majority of these tunes are very good. If you like Lou Reed, you'll like this album" |
