CD ReviewsTop Notch Anthony S. Cramer | 06/04/2008 (5 out of 5 stars) "Marsh and Konitz sound so good on this recording that includes both standards and tunes from their Lennie Tristano days. Their interplay is brilliant, adding interesting counter points throughout the album. Two Bach Inventions are played, and they sound much better than those capture years earlier when they performed Bach with Tristano on the live album ""Wow"".
This is a great selection of music and Marsh and Konitz sound as good as ever. Long clear lines that continue straight into the heads. Great stuff. Kary's Trance is a killer!" |
