Synopsis

Product Description
The lovable Queen Of Mean is at it again...and no one is immune as Lisa takes off the gloves and delivers an unrelenting barrage of political incorrectness and 'shoot from the lip' observations. Never shy about engaging in controversy, she deftly navigates the social taboos, stereotypes, and cultural differences that even the boldest of today's comedians would rarely broach. Lisa's ability to both rile and charm her audience is what has helped her rise to the pinnacle of the comedy scene as witnessed in this performance originally taped for HBO. Cast aside any preconceptions that you may have had from seeing her appearances on the Comedy Central Roasts of Jeff Foxworthy, Pam Anderson, and Flavor Flav, or any of her Howard Stern or Jay Leno appearances. This is Lisa Lampanelli as she is meant to be heard. Enter at your own risk!

"Lisa does it again with her latest special! She has taken the comedy world by storm. She will definitely become a classic sooner or later."
Not at Her Best

"I saw Lisa's routine on Comedy Central the Friday night before this new DVD came out. So I was pretty excited to be getting this after seeing "Take it Like a Man" on TV. "Long Live the Queen" is a let down after the other. She didn't have the audience interaction that she had in the smaller venue. But even those that she did were not as funny and the people not as interesting. She needed a "Todd and Chad" in this audience to really get the laughs going. Overall a toned down performance for HBO. Less sex related jokes and milder.

For those who have seen her on "The Tonight Show" and are looking for an introduction to her humor, then this would be ok. But if you want to go straight to the hardcore side of her show, then I suggest getting "Take it Like a Man" instead."
