CD Reviews

NOTHING NEW EXCEPT....
Terry D. Robertson | Asheville, NC USA | 10/28/2007
(5 out of 5 stars)

"This popular series from the UK sports great sound--better than what you will find here but as for the songs, they are all hits that can be found on many of Linda's hits reissues (particularly GREATEST HITS I and II). There is nothing new here that hasn't been released before time and again. However, if you want a solid transfer with a more linear, non-compact sound, this is a very good hits package to go with and why I recommend it and gave it a 5 star rating. The UK has also released both I and II with better sound than the US counterpart and you may want to just go with that one instead. This disc does contain several songs not included on her aforementioned two multi million sellers. It's subjective and a matter of what you want. I always go for the sound as analog to digital transfers in the USA for pop recordings are far under my expectations."
