Elegantly and tastefully done

"This album and its collection of historic compositions, is both elegantly and tastefully rendered and appointed.

Virtually the entire album is executed in the finest of good taste - and is both well groomed and tailored. The word 'Grand' comes to mind.

Rated four and a half to five stars.

"A really nice selection of American patriotic music from the Revolution to the onset of the Civil War. The performances are excellent. It includes some of the best work, including his patriotic anthem Chester, by the outstanding New England choral composer William Billings."
