Go see Leroy Troy Live!

"Leroy Troy is a true musician entertainer. He is very genuine. What you see is what you get. A true good ol' boy who can flat out pick a banjo. Very nice to meet in person. His voice is as musical as his instrument. However, just hearing him is only half of the show. You have to see him perfom live to fully appreciate his talent. I have seen him several times at the last 5 Museum of Appalachia Homecoming events in Norris, Tennessee. I am at a loss for words in trying to describe his onstage performance. Go see him in person!"

"Wow! If this CD doesn't put a smile on your face, nothing will. Like a lot of the best music, it's tough to categorize...it's not exactly Old-Time, not quite bluegrass, it's more in the tradition of banjo players/humorists like Uncle Dave Macon, Stringbean Akeman, or Snuffy Jenkins. Leroy plays mighty fine clawhammer banjo and sings with a great, laughing voice that sounds like he's got a mouth full of marbles (and I mean this in a good way!). He's got a great backing band including producer Marty Stuart. Guaranteed to please young and old alike!"
