CD Reviews

Another great singer from Brazil
Oscar Pestana | 12/18/1998
(5 out of 5 stars)

"This is a delightful disc from Brazil, which seems to have more than its fair share of great singers. After hearing a few cuts from this disc over a car radio while stuck in traffic in São Paulo about a month ago, I bought a copy on the same day, and I haven't been disappointed. It's too bad that Leila Pinheiro isn't better known in the States!"
A spirit on a voice...
Oscar Pestana | São Paulo - Brasil | 01/27/1999
(5 out of 5 stars)

"Leila is one of the best Bossa-Nova Brazilian singers ever seen. She also mix some pop and samba sequences into her amazing work. Get this album to your colletion and wait for the 'Na ponta da Língua' just released one. Enjoy this incredible brazilian style and mood master-piece..."
A great sample of one of the very best Brazilian performers
Oscar Pestana | 08/31/1998
(5 out of 5 stars)

"Leila Pinheiro has not only a great voice but an excellent musical taste. She is not a composer, but the musics on this CD are simply much better than when they were first released with their original versions. For those who enjoy Jazz, this will probably be a very good piece to acquire."
