This cd is for women more than men. I bought this thinking this was like midnight syndicate cd's, but this is different. It has a male voice over that if your a girl or woman you will most likely love.

If you want creepy vampire music, midnight syndicate - vampire cd is very good.

If you put this on your mp3 player you will want to rip it as a single continuous track, so you do not get any gaps in playback.

""Follow me, my love, and I will take you to a world between darkness and light. Between ancient and eternal. Between real and imagined. Where the truest love dances on the edge of madness, balanced on the shadow of a dreamer's sigh. Come... through the door..."This stanza begins an album that to me is a perfect mix of eerie, beautiful music and gentle spoken voice work. As soon as I heard that stanza, carried by soft synthesizer sounds underneath it I was hooked on this album. I do not (yet) have this album in my collection but I have had a chance to hear it. How beautiful this is. The vocal narration before each piece pulls you gently along, almost daring you to follow the vampire on the journey he describes, to be a part of his adventure or his memory. Whoever they got to speak the role of the vampire here(possibly Lee Blaske himself?) was the perfect choice, with a gentle voice, rich and deep and soothing but with just a touch of sinister tones and alluring tenderness. The musical pieces themselves, done largely with beautiful work on piano and synthesizers, paint a picture of the vampire not so much as a monster but almost like the romantic hero of an ancient story, gently imploring his love to join him in his world beyond the grave. This is great for reducing or relieving stress but if you have a romantic heart it just MIGHT make that heart beat a LITTLE bit faster... and may send chills through you. It did for me, and I enjoyed this work very much. I hope you enjoy it too. Peace. :)"
Beautiful, sensual, yet dark.

"This CD seems like the perfect mix between our world and the world created by so many authors. When I first heard this music, I felt like I was spinning into a vortex of sound. This CD has allowed me to understand how a vampire might see our world, and I believe that this is a CD that all must admit its deep beauty."
