"This CD is good through and through. Lovisa's voice is soft and comfortable to listen too, she reminds me of Billy Holiday though she has a very certain charm of her own. The lyrics are heartfelt and you get the feeling they are truly real and based on real feelins not corporate fakeness. An outstanding pending hit is by and by which I couldnt resist humming to myself throughout the day. This is a up and coming young artist, I would recommend this album to anyone who likes folk, country, bluegrass, indie."

"half way through 2009 & this is my pick for best of the year so far. in good company...Neko Case, M. Ward, John Doe & The Sadies, & the like but this cd by Lay Low is a real treat. a sweet, laid back gem that really grows on you with repeated listens. each track unfolds nicely with oddly charming vocals, great guitar interplay & some excellent pedal steel parts by BJ Cole. again, it takes an artist outside the USA to capture so well the simple yet exquisite nature of great country western music."
