If you want "L'heure espagnole" by itself, this recording is a total delight--witty, perfectly sung by an exemplary French-speaking cast that includes the young Jose van Dam, stylish, and in great sound. It was recorded in 1965 under Maazel with the same verve he brough to his equaly delightful "L'enfant." A must-have for anyone who loves Ravel."
