CD Reviews

Beautiful Movie, Beautiful Soundtrack

(5 out of 5 stars)

"Oh my gosh, this is my favorite soundtrack of all time. The songs are fun, powerful, and sad. This whole cd is wonderful. Here's a little bit about each song and their ratings! The highest rating is 10 and the lowest is 1.(1) Kingdom Come~ 10 stars~ this song makes you wanna dance all day. It has a great beat and awesome melody. It gives you a happy feeling and after you're done listening to it, it keeps you happy all day.(2) Daddy's Song~ 10 stars~ even though this is the sadest song on the cd, it's very heart touching. It is a story about a son who never really knew his father and then he (the father) died.(3) Stand~ 10 stars~ this song is really soulful and it reasures you that God is always with you.(4) Thank You~ 9 stars~ another good song. It has a good beat but it just isn't 10 star worthy. It's still a wonderful song!(5) Thy Will Be Done~ 10 stars~ This song takes you somewhere great. It touches you and lets you know that life may have its hard times but in the end it will all work out.(6) It's Alright~ 10 stars~ Great beat and wonderful rythm in this song. It's just all around good.(7) God's Got It All Under Control~ 10 stars~ This song is a good inspirational memo to it. There is a little narration in the beginning and in little parts in the middle, but it's made up for by the wonderful soulfulness.(8) Someday~ 9 stars~ Crystal Lewis gives a good story of hope and it's a great song.(9) Try Me~ 10 stars~ Probably the best song on the cd, it gives you reasurances and hope. It's so beautiful, it makes me cry. This is a wonderful family song too. When everyone sings together for the chorus, and when Tamar sings, it's awesome!(10) Every Woman~ 9 stars~ This song is soulful and is very nice. It just, to me, needed a little something more.(11) Try Me (Reprise)~ 10 stars~ This is another version of Try Me, it's happier. It is a good song to dance to also.I hope this review has helped you, it's a wonderful cd and I hope you buy it. The movie too, it's one of my all time favorite movies. It is a comedy with some drama and it's not like any other movie you've seen (in a good way)."

"This soundtrack is a monumental example of gospel with a beat you can dance to. I recommend it to all those younger christians who want something that they can dance to with a message they can appreciate. It is food for the soul I am happy to own a copy of it."
