CD Reviews

Has very little to do with Killing Joke

"Killing Joke is my favorite band, which means I'm usually willing to pay money for anything that bears the name. This, however, was a rip-off. The songs, other than containing maybe a sample of Jaz saying a word here or there, sound absolutely nothing like the originals, and in fact, sound exactly the same. Lots of techno and dance beats, very very little Killing Joke. Who authorized this anyway?"
Is the Joke on me?

"If you're a fan of Techno or House music, you'll probably love this stuff. It's so far removed from the original Joke material, though, that I've only played it once. I need Geordie's guitars."
Rockin' techno album

"2 things should tell you that this is NOT a regular Killing Joke album - warDANCE and REMIX. One look at who is doing the remixes tells you the whole story. As a high energy trance album, it freakin rocks! The mixes are great and the one by Trent Reznor is as good or better than anything he puts on his albums. If you like hardcore trance with an edge to it, get this album."
