Hats off to Kenny Drew Jr. et al

"I love this sound. Complex cords and interesting scales put to work by talented people. There are quite a few people making this sound, but this is the first trio recording I've found where they managed to pull off the complexity and still swing (every time) while staying within the bounds of traditional jazz. Kenny Drew Jr. is in excellent form. If he keeps making records like this one, I'll buy every one."
