Julie Frost is pure rapture

"Julie Frost has an amazing voice..and what range! First you get this raspy blues influence, like "Life After You", then you get close to a lullaby, like "Little Piece of Sky". Although I much prefer Julie's music... I suppose Fiona Apple or Natalie Merchant are almost as good as Julie Frost. You can't afford to miss these lyrics... I have a favorite song for every mood. She just has a way of captivating your every emotion. She is going to be a "Shining Star", not just in Chicago, very soon. This CD never leaves my CD changer. Buy it and it won't leave yours either."

"This album is rich from start to finish, and I agree with the first reviewer, that this woman does not have the following that her talent so clearly deserves. I highly recommend purchasing this album. Each song is unique and wonderful. Her earthy, sultry voice and soulful lyrics are a welcome change from a lot of the garbage that is out there by other female artists today. I put this album in and listen to it again and again. I never tire of it. Just waiting for the next album!"
