"" Black Sheep" is one of Julian Cope's greatest albums ever. It's a return to his paramount psychedelic era akin to "Peggy Suicide", "20 MOthers" and "Interpreter." Julian's diverse vocals resonate very nicely as they are accompanied by majestic, surreal and dynamic keyboards and mellotron 400's. The Druid does inordinatly rail against organized religion but his environmental, animal rights and especially female liberation messages are truly from his heart. Julian Cope is an extremely talented vocalist and multi-instrumentalist and "Black Sheep" is the CD that Cope fans have been waiting for because all his skills reach fruition. It a 2CD audible pleasure that's consistently brilliant."
