(4 out of 5 stars)

"Jules Shear adds his middle name Mark to the bill and punches through with a set of snarling rocking originals. The opener "I'm Coming Back" boils with a throbbing bass & a catchy chorus with Jules' wry vocals seeming almost on the level, "Even though time may be infinite, I'm still saving all this time for you." The title track rides on a heavy guitar riff with Jules' hushed talk-sing spitting lyrics full throttle, "The world weighs a ton; All this encouragement is killing me; It's so comfortable right here on your floor." After the third rocker "Table & Chairs," Shear slows the pace with a haunting melody on "We Said Goodbye." "Thick Cut Grass" attracts with a throbbing beat, Shear's creative lyric, and full-bodied keyboards, "I took one cup too far, then I found you there & heaven was lovely, heaven on earth, all I needed was a mask made of your raven hair." "Sea Shell" bangs a joyful noise before the slower close of the lovely "You Might Show Up." This is a strong set with eight rockers & two slower tracks. Shear is at the top of his game with edgy lyrics, unique melody, great arrangements, sterling musicianship & a whole lot of fun. This may be his best album since Jules & the Polar Bears did Phonetics/Fenetiks. Enjoy!"

"Jules brings back his mastery of "groovy" tunes on this CD. His sure clean vocals with his charming octave diving will make you smile! Well produced and the band is stellar. I really like the song "Table and Chairs."

This song has a happy groovy infectious beat. If you enjoyed Jules CD "The Great Puzzle" you will love this CD "MORE"."
