Jovanotti's (Lorenzo Cherubini's) BUON SANGUE is one of his

"BUON SANGUE is again politically progressive, but also charming, very amusing and even moving ("Una storia d'amore"). The first song (and first single, I believe), "(Tanto)3", is at first grating but can grow on you (as it did on me), and I enjoy the silly video posted on the official Jovanotti website. The music here is not for everyone, but if you are already a fan I think you'll love this one. "Coraggio" is a real spirit-booster, and other songs are enjoyable for their political consciousness and for their composition. While political attitudes are clearly significant to those of us with brains, Lorenzo is perhaps more importantly the goofy friend who flushes worries by reminding one to laugh a lot and appreciate life.

"I bought this album while visiting Padova. I haven't heard any of Jovanotti's other CDs so I can't comment on how it compares, but I really adore it. It's a great mix of hip-hop and pop, excellent beats, very catchy songs, sexy, funky."
