"To really be honest with you, there just haven't been many songs for movies that meant something from the heart commercially alst year. The only one that did was Melissa Ethridge's I Need To Wake Up from the documentary An Inconvient Truth. This year, John Mayer has shown that with his simplicity on his latest single simply called, Say. The song which is the main attraction from the Morgan Freeman film, The Bucket List, is a very strong song about letting your heart come out unconditionally. I think it is a good song, but not anything that is definitive that we've seen from movie soundtracks lately. John is a good and crafty songwriter, but I wish it could've had more than just words alone.

"I think it's nearly perfect. The tune is catchy, the lyrics could have meaning for anyone. The only drawback is the chorus is a tad bit repetitious for me. I have not seen the movie, but imagine that it goes well with the storyline."
