Recorded during his "Sloe Gin" tour during the summer of 2008, Joe Bonamassa may be the most underappreciated blues guitarists recording today. A child prodigy (he opened for B.B. King when he was just 12 years old), Joe has continued to refine his art with each passing year. While "Sloe Gin" is an acoustic-heavy recoding, "Live..." is anything but mellow. Joe puts together blazing guitar solos throughout the set. He does a fantastic rendition of ZZ Top's "Just Got Paid" on disc 2, even ripping off a little Zeppelin in the process. 2 of 2 member(s) found this review helpful.
