But this collection, ONE OF US, repackages almost all the tracks off her wonderful HOW SWEET IT IS CD and includes just a few older songs. So, be warned - you might be better off buying her full-length CDs as this one is hardly a proper compilation of her stellar work. Of course, if you have NO Joan music, this is a fine place to start, just not the best. She also has a new CD of brand new music coming soon that undoubtedly will be terrific. My only caveat about this ONE OF US collection being that it's always possible this is a collection of acoustic versions or alternate takes or something, but I doubt it. I suspect it's a record company project and something Joan herself has little, if any, control over or participation in." Good place to start... The clerks could not tell me who the artist was, so I e-mailed Eddie Bauer, they couldn't help either. SO, I search the net especially Amazon.com to see if I could hear a snippet. Wouldn't you know,it was Joan Osborne. I then looked at her video for "Love's in Need of Love." It was great!! I discocvered the "One of Us" CD and it had several songs I like including that cover of "I'll Be Around" and "One of US." Highly recommend for a mellow mood."
