"This is the 3rd time I have made a review, but this time I am putting my time in it.This CD is a great one for any collection. Jeffrey Osborne is in top form in the new millenium with That's For Sure (Private Music/BMG/Arista). This album contains 12 songs all written and produced by Osborne and this is by far one of the strongest sets i've seen out of Osborne. Here is the lowdown of what i think of the songs in a 1-10 scale.1.2nd Time Around - (8)- an all around sexy get up and dance song. With a smooth bassline this song will definately heat up anyones subwoofer.2.Kreepin'- (9)- A definate infidelity track. Has a great chorus and an awesome lyricism.3. That's For Sure-(10)- a slow burning cool down in every way. A lovely show of affection in every way. A good slow song at a party.4. I Do It All For Love-(8)- A beautiful "I Miss You" Type ballad in which Jeffrey talks about his definate love living in the South and how he misses her and wants to be with her.5. Can't Find An Easy Way-(10)- A heart wrenching ballad of I know you love me but my love for you has gone in which Jeffrey talks of a love making episodes sad ending.6. Soft and Slow- (9)- A slow moving bass inticed song which makes you feel totally sexy and leaves you wanting more.7. Work That Body- (10)- The shortest song on the album has Osborne use a newer beat and a freaky sound!8. Call My Name- (10)- A song that has a sound that Chico Debarge has used before. A lovely song with healthy proportion and a big appetite for love9. Come With Me-(8)- a great love song that you most likely will come and slow dance to.10. All My Money-(10)- By far the bounciest track on the album finds itself in the ranks of giving all he can to the woman he adores11.Was It Something I Said-(10) Finds Jeffrey saddend to find his girlfriend leaving and he has no idea why. A great song with a purpose12. Love Ballad- (10!)- One of the best songs on the album this live version has Jeffrey singing one of the best songs ever with one of the most involving audiences I have ever heard! Vocal Arrangements with long time collaborator Portia Griffin. This CD contains over 60 minutes of music with most of the tracks totaling more than 5 minutes. Love Ballad has the longest time with 7:29. An Absolutely exciting, sensual, event! You are sure to be loving it by the 1st listen!"

"Jeffrey Osborne has returned. After six years of almost complete inactivity in the recording studio, he's come back with one of the finest albums he's ever blessed his voice with. His voice is richer, deeper, and more powerful than it ever has been. The tunes here all slickly-produced, from cool and funky mid-tempo numbers to dreamy ballads, and should keep his long-standing fans more than happy. Among the best tracks are '2nd Time Around', a funky ode to love's second chances, 'That's for Sure', a trademark dreamy ballad, 'Can't Find an Easy Way', 'Soft and Slow', 'Work that Body', 'Come with Me', a sexy funk ballad perfect for getting you in the mood, 'Was it Something I Said', ah, they all great, but as strong as some of these songs are they pale next to the closing number, a live version of one of Osborne's first hits from his early days, the emotionally charged 'Love Ballad'. Whooo, he kills it on here, fa'real. That song is an absolute classic and its placement on here should remind the newer listeners that Osborne has a past and may encourage them to go find his other albums from the '70s and '80s. He may be way past his prime, but he's still cranking out appealing music. If you like classic R&B then you should definitely pick this up."
