"As a writer, I listen to a lot of music like this without lyrics, and anime soundtracks are one of my favorite things to listen to, to inspire myself for the scenes I am writing. Most soundtracks I have, have only a few tracks I really really like. (My idea of good music is, if it goes through your head later, it was good, or at least catchy.) There are many songs on here I look forward to writing to, for their feeling and sheer drama. The only drawback, in my opinion, is that I bought this cd specifically because I believed that the theme they play during the whole Ayu-nee/Susumu drama scenes at the end of the series, like where Susumu is going to where Ayu is... was on the cd. After turning through the tracks, this does not appear to be the case. I was pretty disappointed at that, because that track, in my opinion, would've been worth the near $40 I paid to import the cd from Japan in itself. (In my opinion, the most moving piece in the whole series.) Unless it's buried in another piece of music and I just missed it, the fact that this piece was not on the cd was quite a let down. HOWEVER, in spite of that, the cd is still, in my opinion, rather above average compared to those bogged down with redundant fight music. The tracks seem to have a lot of personality, and anyone who enjoyed the themes in the series, will find this cd a definate must have! Great CD, in spite of that missing theme!"
