"This is one of Ivan Lins' best CDs ever; but unfortunately he recorded it with Som Livre and they no longer issue this CD; so needless to say it's out of print and almost impossible to acquire.

It's a master piece by a Maestro; the compositions still sound so fresh almost 20 years after it was released; cuts like "Beijo Infinito", "Humana", "Vitoriosa" and "Luas de Pequim" are so fantastic that you cannot stop listening to them; but above them all, cut number 8 "Sonhos (Arrastao dos Pescadores)" is an absolute knock-out; it's become a classic, and people who love Ivan Lins' music cannot find anywhere else; Brazilian Jazz group Viva Brazil as well as Herbie Mann and Kenia have made great covers on it, but this is the Real Thing.

If you love Ivan's music or just Brazilian music in general get this CD whenever and wherever you can find it; you'll be forever grateful you did.
